* AEC Series *

Two British vehicles to kick off the list. This download is a twin pack of vehicles. The AEC Bus and the AEC Anti Aircraft vehicle. Both are finished to a good standard and are available for download. Shown below is the AEC AA only. The AEC Bus (not shown) is also included in the download.

* Austin Mark II *

Built by the British but used by the Soviet Union also, this vehicle represents the mid-way between armoured and non-armoured transport. Semi-armoured could be a term that would best describe this vehicle. Again, built before the HC collaboration, this vehicle sports two large drum like turrets atop on each side of the vehicle each mounted with a .303 calibre machine gun. The vehicle has armoured glass as modelled in SDOE too, and the drivers armour panels and the radiator armour cover can be opened and closed whenever wanted. Credit must to go Scorpion Rouge for building the casts for this vehicle, and also applying a nice paint job to it. I was responsible as always, for making it driveable.

This is version 2.0 of the Austin MKII. See the readme included in the download for more information. Click here to download.

* Renault FT17 *

The first driveable tank ever produced for Openplane WWI SDOE, this tank also sets another first because it was the first WWI vehicle that started the Harman Chaps collaboration. Chaps made 8 finely crafted missions for this vehicle and Scorpion Rouge deserves credit for originally building the hull and turret casts. I took the casts and redid the paint job for it, added the engine and running gear and I fitted out the interior to complete the tank.

All in all, a great first effort for OP-WWI armor, this vehicle was also showcased at an SDOE Online Event, The Flame Of Calais, though it suffered some serious mechanical trouble on the battlefield and wasn't of much use.

* A7V *

The pride of the German WWI armour arsenal. A juggnernaut, this tank is a lumbering behemoth that is very much an armoured fortress bristling with machine guns and a 5.7cm main gun mounted on the bow hull. This vehicle has been fully fitted out by HC Tankworks, inside you will find an accurately modelled interior and all gun positions and the driver position are fully controllable by you. The A7V modelled is the "Mephisto", which in reality still exists restored, in a Museum in Australia.

Despite Mephisto's mechanics best efforts to get the vehicle in running order, 'he' still exhibits some old world charm in the way of his extremely squeaking tracks. This vehicle also sets a first in a way, because it was the first driveable vehicle I've ever made entirely on my own, the casts, paint job, driveability and everything except of course, for the missions!

In the missions department, Chaps has made 14 Premium missions and they are included in the download. Please note, that although the downloads include a lot of extra static units and objects for use in the missions, it is recommend that you have installed, the WWI Pack 2, the WWI Pack 2 Patch and Nations v2 in your SDOE install to get the full deal from these vehicles, some missions may not run withouth the said add-ons also. Once you download the vehicle, read the readme which will explain these things in-depth. It is also worth noting that from start to scratch, Chaps and I started and finished this vehicle to what it is now in no more than 10 days flat! Ok, the mechanics have moved the A7V outside for a closer inspection...let's take a look at the A7V close-up!

* British MKIV *

Open Plane WWI's first British driveable tank! Based off Nat's awesome static 3D model of the tank, Chaps and I took this project in our hands and gave it our blessing. The result has to be seen to be believed. The vehicle itself has been finished to a premium standard, with fully controllable gun positions, plus driver and observer/mechanic positions too.

The observer/mechanic position allows you to view the exposed 100hp Daimler engine in full animation and control the tank at the same time. The interior itself has been super-detailed and was modelled off real scale models of the tank. The damage model is realistic as with other tanks and in the missions department, Chaps has once again outdone himself, making no less than 18 campaign missions! To play these missions, you'll need to download the WWI Mission Builders pack version 1, also available from this site. You'll find it in Field Units.

As a plus, you also get another driveable vehicle with this download, and that is the German captured version of the British MKIV with its own authentic captured paint scheme. This was used extensively by the German forces in WWI. This is by far our best release yet, so be sure to check it out.

* St Chamond *

Finished completely throughout, both interior and exterior. The exterior 3D model was done by Wakeup Tailgunner, originally used on the St Chamond static unit for SDOE. The interior was by me modelled off real images of it taken from the internet and includes such goodies as an animated Panhard 90hp engine, ammo boxes and spare main gun shells visible inside the tank. All gun and view positions (including a "mechanic" position) are mannable and controllable by you, and the tank is completely fitted out with authentic sound effects.

As with all HC Tankworks drivable tanks, this tank comes with a realistic damage model and crew damage is modelled too, wheels can be blown off, the engine can be knocked out, driver can be killed, etc, etc. The tanks' ground handling is also realistic. The tank also comes with 3 training missions, a Hangar mission, GUI images and Hangar information just to name a few things!
